Leather designers = Cataracts?
 

What the hell is up with the state of the leathers I'm looking at?!

Got my first leather jacket last year, a brand new Dainese model, nice and understated, mainly black with a little blue and white in a simple stripe pattern. Been keeping an eye on eBay and checking the manufacturer sites just in case I see another one/a 1-pc suit.

Every single thing I have seen is horrendous. They don't look any better than the ones you laugh at when Bike do a retrospective and you see the things they used to wear in the 80s, like German skiing outfits, colour splashed willy-nilly :smt086

Dainese, Alpinestars, Wolf, Spidi, Crowtree, Akito, seen them all and, for the most part, they all look identical and have no style at all. Just the same blue/white or red//white over and over again. Time for the designers to make something that looks vaguely stylish or am I getting the wrong end of the stick here and this is what people want (and what everyone seems to wear)?

Rant over....for now :D Will try to upload a piccy of my jacket tomorrow.

Mine are quite foul, but were cheap!

At least the colours match the bike and throw overs.
