Correct Headlight alignment

Now have I got this correct, to align you headlights correctly you need to park about 25 ft (7.62m) from a wall. Then the Headlamp centres not more than 850mm above the ground.

I'm having trouble finding specific information for bikes, it all seems to be for cars, but I imagine its all the same.

Haynes manual(if you've got one) should have all the information you need .

Hey,

Did you learn anything? I just figured out HOW to adjust the beams, now I just need the "dimensions"...

Thanks,

Mitch

Don't know if it's changed, but it used to be an MOT fail if it was to high, but you'd generally get away with it if it was to low, so if in doubt, adjust it down, do the MOT and then take it out at night and put it where you need it, not very scientific, but if it works :smt102

(Oh and before anyone points it out, yes I know they measure between two marked lines:roll: )

Cheers Mark,
