i want something that you can still manually move the throttle but makes it stick so that i can do dumb things like the iron cross or whatever else i can come up with

If I tighten the barends too much on the Dullsville the throttle sticks. Not enough that you can't throttle off if you want to, but enough to stop the return working under it's own load. I'm guessing that this has got to be pretty close to cruise control. If I'm going to do a lot of motorway on it then guess what I am going to do.

Theres one on this website that locks your throttle open, then when you want to unlock it all you do is use the throttle again. Sounds a great idea for motorways. Also theres abit of black plastic shaped so you can control the throttle with your thumb for a short time, might help get some feeling back in your hands!!

 Hovis said something sensible! :p :D Na, he;s right - why would you want to take your hands off the handle bars in the first place? On hand to open the visor or something, ok...but both?

Some of the old Brit bikes did have an adjustable friction device on the throttle.

I've slipped on an O ring which sits between barend and rubber grip, does much the same thing as BigApe has described but not adding quite so much friction that the throttle won't return to closed.
