are they illegal??
got them from ebay 19 quid delivered

Construction & Use. Only light visible at the front of normal vehicles is white or indicators (orange/yellow).

Red at the front & folks will think you're facing the wrong way & stopped. Bad bad idea IMO.

No doubt they do, but plod won't see it that way. They get really exercised about blue light covers.

Nearly right - They get most exercised by Red light covers.
