Fork and Swingarm cleaner
Okay who? what? how much? where to buy? And what not to use?
I'm guessing they will be 2 different products |
Re: Fork and Swingarm cleaner
I've never heard of fork and swingarm cleaner, I'd use something like Muc-off spray, and normal car shampoo on stuff like that, and on the rest of the bodywork.

Re: Fork and Swingarm cleaner
I use a mixure of parafin to break down the grease, and just normal bike wash or muck off to clean it up. Lots of elbow grease and all that... what you try to get off?

Re: Fork and Swingarm cleaner
You wont get that "pitting" off the swing arm without a lot of polishing.
You'll want to go over it with wet and dry and then autosol the life out of it. As for your swingarm, parafin or WD40 should bring it up sparkly again. |

Re: Fork and Swingarm cleaner
Sorry... trying to do to much at once !!
Forks : Wet and dry to remove all the pitting and rust, then go over with Autosol till shiny. Swingarm : Use a degreaser, something like Parafin to get the worst off, then wash with ordinary bike shampoo and then go over with WD40 and then it should come up nice and shiney. Sorry for the confusion |
Re: Fork and Swingarm cleaner
I've just bought some 'garryflex' polish blocks to do my bike forks, from M&P after a recomendation from a friend.
