New wheels

i know i am new here, but i am posting this because its very important.
i have just ridden home on my new bike! this is very exciting as its my first ride in over 3 months and first time on the roads in this crazy country where road rules are more of a guideline.
so i hope to meet you at the next friday night thing, and i will take up the offer i got for an escort now!

2000 model, blue, with bottom fairing added. oh my heart sings. i hadn't realised how much i missed riding. now i can catch up on all the riding i have been missing.

Well done you! If you want to see the rules bent, try riding in Delhi, where they ignore red lights and lane markniga altogether:eek: . Keep at it, you'll soon get used.

And welcome. And 'bless you'.

What Debs said... if you think road rules are a "guideline" in this country you need to travel more to appreciate that standards really arent quite that bad. :p Indias a good one. Try Kazakhstan too.... they drive round the mountains with no lights on at night there http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_1_15.gif

But congrats on the new bike - best model and colour

I heard, and it *may* not be true but in places like india where they drive around at nigh without lights on, it's because they all believe in re-incarnation.

Admittedly, I got this dubious nugget of information from TV (Most probably a BBC1 travel show hosted by Carol Smilie).

Hiya and welcome :D

I'm in Camden Town too and would offer to escort you down, but there's no guarantee that the Ducati will make it

Cheers,

Paul

I would say Hi and see you on Friday, but back in the real work that is highly unlikely. So I'll just say Hi instead.

Getting bored of my situation now.

No it's quite true. They do all believe that reincarnation is a natural and obvious progression.

I'm in Camden Town too and would offer to escort you down but the Ducati is guaranteed to break down/spring an oil leak/have electrical gremlins so I'll need a lift there!!

Cheers,

Paul
