I saw that article. Every Rock Society I was in drew most of it's members from the sciences and maths, and most labs I have worked in have at least one metaller in them. The reason they give is valid in certain cases, but it's not the case with me. I've always thought metal is the thinking persons music as it is actually very technical, and very neoclassical in some places, with all of the most gifted musicians coming from that field (save for classical music of course). Anybody that thinks it is just grunting and screaming is, and I quote from Japanese metal band Sigh, "not clever or advanced enough to enjoy this music" :lol:.
