In the absence of the Barge and following the cancelation of my trip to the NW200:( I've decided to take a look at this place The Anchor, 284 Ferry Road, Hullbridge, Essex SS5 6ND It appears on the map to not be far from the Barge, has a beer garden and was labeled bike friendly on the internet search; so I will pitch up and give it a look see tonight. Anyone care to join me about 19:00?

Ooh, I think I've been there... Don't recall how good the parking was though...

I'm not sure if it's near the railway:p It is reported to have a good car park, I'll wait and see.

:razz: If I turn up tonight, it'll be on Roger. He's in need of a good blast to clear his lungs after sitting around for so long with a grumpy owner who can't be arsed to do anything. :lol:

I have no idea where I will be, but it is a good possibility that I may turn up.
Weather dependant, I may be going out for an observed ride.....
