Blimey that's not bad (I did a quote for myself on one of those in London, I'm 28, clean licence, and it was well over £1000 TPFT).

I love those bikes

Stop wasting time on here and go buy it :smt045

errrrr im 22

thats why its "expensive" but when you realise its 16% of the value of the bike thats not bad.. bearing in mind my car worth £2500 is currently costing 50% of its value to insure it....

according to "rides Figures" it costs a 35 yr old with 5 yrs no claims £750 comp for a new R1...

any way ill be buying it if i have my way ..... when iv finished the house and if tother half has her way when hell freezes over.. lols..

It would not make a difference if I was 22 or 92, out of principle, I would never pay that on insurance. In the scheme of things however, it seems like a 'reasonable :pale: ' quote.

I didn't realise that insurance was soooo expensive for young drivers. I also would never pay that out in insurance on principle. However if you are young and you want the bike then I suppose you pay it.

Insurance is a right sod, after throwing loads into car insurance to get my 6 years no claims and now having a company car is was all rather pointless as they expire after 2 years if not used.

I think I pay £365 on the SVsport Fully comp with loads of extras and £250 excess. not bad i dont think considering my lack of any experience

I pay £180 and I am 30 years old, with 3 years no claims. Bike is a brand new K6,
