Luggage
Just got an SV; what's the thinking on luggage, specifically spft paniers? I've got a set of Oxford Sport pannniers; will they fit? Thanks!!

is yours a pointy or a curvy |
Re: Luggage
Got Oxford Sports Panniers, work well on the curvy. Tested at high speed on German autobahns too, stable up to 175/180 km/h. Didn't have the heart to push the littl ebike any harder all loaded up.

Re: Luggage
Must admit, I'm considering a ventura rack for the back of my SV...
A Ventura SPORTS rack that is, not the dirty great huge thing! Just got to work out if it's worth the £100. Probably is, I mean, if I have an off whilst I have a pillion, more than likely any & all luggage will be attached to the bike, not the pillion... I think I need to see one in the flesh before I decide though. |
Re: Luggage
I'm really happy with my Ventura Spada 7 bag n rack, I keep the rack off just leaving the 2 brackets when not using the bag, very un-noticable but very handy to hold on to when moving the bike.
The bag and rack are made very well, very quick to put on and off and kinda secure with a packsafe 55 litre wire mesh thing around it. The spada bag is semi-rigid, very thick material with some internal shaped plastic to hold it square. |
Re: Luggage
I got a givi monokey v46 topbox, plate and fittings from a company in Italy. Got the lot for just over the price of a v46 box alone.from busters or m&p. Gonna get the Givi soft tailpac too. Both will give total of 93 litres of luggage space. That, together with bagster double tankbags should be morenenough for my trip to france in August ;)
