my new sv1000s
Got myself a sv1000s (2004) with bos cans on it. They are very quiet. Anyone else had them? Need to play with suspension (its on standard swettings), to give it a bit more composure. Any ideas?(im 14.5 stone)
Its no as fast as I thaught it would be(last bike was 650s 99), but perhaps i was expecting too much. CHEERS |

Re: my new sv1000s
I think you will notice the speed once you get back on a 650. Sit at 90 and gently lean on the throttle, you get the kind of response you got from pining the 650.
Wind it open at 90 and you know it isnt a 650. |
Re: my new sv1000s
i had a go with cuz today on his 650 off the lights, the only thing is i didnt know he was racing until i saw him along side me at which point i twisted back hard on the throttle to near red line in 2nd, the sv1000 give a little head shake but stabalized with the throttle kept open, he said when we got back " you just pulled away " :)

Re: my new sv1000s
Don't get really loud cans. Quite a few on the sv1000 can sound awful - ear piercing instead of a low burble. Saw too many of those today.
