Gimmick??
 

Just been idle browsing ebay and found this.. Gimmick or truth? Anyone used one and do they work? Sounds a bit iffy to be messing around with the ignition timing if you ask me..:confused:

Do a search......there's a way (on the curvy at least) of doing a mod to your bike which has the same effect and all for the price of free :D

I had the mod done to my bike and I felt a very slight difference in 2nd gear, but that could have been all in the mind :rolleyes:

Fit a smaller sprocket on the front, job done :smt035

you can do it for free on the curvey no idea about the pointy (think it might be called TPS on the pointy?)

it wont make much of a difference, probably more of a placebo effect

TPS is a different thing all together and just smoothes the bike out below 3-4k. TRE I believe can be done free on the pointy too.

Search both to find out the low-down as they've both been covered alot.

fair enough, i stand corrected. I'm not up on the ins and outs of the ugly er i mean pointy ones ;)

Indeed I did. I bought the eaxct same one off ebay from the exact same person and it didn't do anything. Not a jot. Save your money and take the wife out.:rolleyes:

TRE won't really do much for the performance of the bike unless you run with a higher RON fuel.

Discussed to death previously IMO.
