Weeeeeee goes the tyre...
Plodding along to work this morning, was coming up behined a tow truck with a Ford Probe hooked up.
As I got closer, the rear right wheel started wobbling, and got quite bad quite quickly. Quick dab of the brakes to give myself some distance, and im so glad i did... Off came the wheel, bouncy bounch into buildings, cars etc.. Took the recovery truck driver a good 50 meters to realise and pulled over, smoke, sparks all those nice bits coming flying out the back. The wheel bounced so high, and everytime it hit something, it bounced even higher  It came to rest about 100m down the road ahead of the recovery truck next to some crates. Luckily no-one was walking down the road, its a major road (coming towards old kent road from blackheath commen) as well. NEVER let one of those dodgy transit type recovery trucks pickup your car/bike http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/lmao.gif Wish I had a helmet cam |
Re: Weeeeeee goes the tyre...
Had to read that twice; first time I'd read it as if it was your bike's wheel that had come off

Re: Weeeeeee goes the tyre...
Not scary at all, common knowledge that those who by Bandits regret not having bought a Quad instead.
(Said with a bandit owner sat across the other side of the desk to me - though he brought an RSVR to the office this morning... might let him off). |
