hooks....
ok, as we all know, our lovely SV's are a little shy in the "hooks to stick bungee things on with" department, no idea what its like on early models etc but my K5 only has them on the pilly footrests which i intend to take off when i go for single seat/fairing lowers etc etc, so question is, does anyone know of anywhere to buy some kid of hooks that could be put on underside of bike or undertray etc etc that wouldnt look completely silly so i can still stick me cargo net/bungee's/tailbag on with?!?!?

You can probably get some kind of bungy hooks that attach to your bike from www.mandp.com or maybe motrax do something whether they'll look rubbish or not i don't know |
Re: hooks....
The way I do it on the K6 is to hook the front of the net onto the pillion pegs (metallic, not going to scratch, and easily strong enough) and then hook the back to itself, under the rear subframe/undertray behind the indicators.
Works nice, no cost. |
Re: hooks....
I used to take the pillion seat off and hook the cargo net hooks to each other under the seat then put the seat back, no hooks showing and no scratching of plastics.
But then I got a topbox:takeabow: |
Re: hooks....
Curvies are so overendowed in the hook department that I just cut two off. You can have them if you like ;)

Re: hooks....
I sell these things called Hookers (yes bad name i know!). Motrax make them. They are little black hooks with strong adhesive on the back which stick to the underside of your seat panels. They look pretty strong and not had anyone come back and say they have come off.
Worthing searching them out. |
