I won't even begin to start with what a 'Time Bomb Legacy' Brown has left for the U.Ks economy. Watch this space.
Also, one of his first 'missions' is Affordable Housing. Yeah, all to be placed in the South East of England.

Affordable housing? I seem to remember that we had that before Labour got in.

Average UK house price 1997 - £80,000
Average UK house price 2007 - £210,000
Average London house price 2007 - £350,000
Average North-East house price 2007 - £129,000

True, but it does not make it the right solution.
Like we need more people flocking to the already most populated area of Northern Europe. :smt096

Yeah, so is mine,........... only because it is in the S.E. though.
The whole of my property is worth £X mentality is totally academic.
A bit worrying when a major part of a UK citizens so called financial 'wealth' revolves around
figures dreamt up by uneducated wideboys (ie Estate Agents)

I am guessing that you were being 'ironic' though Keith.

yes indeedy i am. my house is only worth that ("worth" being used in the loosest sense of the word) if i sell it now, and the equity gained will be gobbled (fnarr) up by the next purchase unless i decide to downgrade.

but its all a moooot point as i aint moving. so there. *arms folded icon thingy*
