What a tool!!

I went to the tool shop today to buy a couple of taps (the thread making kind, not the drip-drip kind!! :D) ...

Anyhoo, what should have been a ~£5 excursion turned out to be a £50 excursion ...

I mean I came away with some new files ... I don't even need files!! :-s :D

Anyone else get carried away in tool shops?!!? :D

I love tools!!

I love tools too. Though good tool shops aren't easy to find. In fact, the only ones I know are 'net-based. Where's yours?

I don't count Halfords as a tool shop...

Not tools, but I went into a bike shop today for indicators and bar ends and somehow ordered over £100 of bits

My fave at the mo is my SDS drill. If you haven't got one, you have to invest. Mines only a cheap one (from ALDI I think) but the improvement over a regular hammer drill is amazing. This thing will go through anything! :thumright:

Drills!
