K6 indicator fault

any electrically minded people out there??!!

i recently binned my SV after getting a bit carried away on a rideout :( ...

ive bought all the parts i needed and fitted them all today, an everything seems fine, however the indicators now flash at double speed.. The clocks werent damaged in the crash and im useless with electronics unfortunately:roll:

th headlights and front indys arnt on the bike at the moment because ive got a trackday this week, but i cant imagine that affecting the speed th indicators flash.. any help on the cause would be greatfully appreciated!!!

many thanks..

Your indicators flash fast because of the fact that your front bulbs aren't there. Basically, the flash relay uses the power usage of the bulbs to determine it's flash rate. This way, if a bulb blows, your indicators flash fast.

Once you put them back on (and ensure that the correct bulbs are in them), peace will be restored in the universe.
