Speedo info

Can anyone supply me the part number for the replacement speedo pickup for a K1 S?

The bit I need is just the notched disc inside the pickup, the bit that usually breaks when you take the front wheel out.

TSM was saying at AE07 that the new part is now (possibly) ceramic and much more durable.

I really should change it as I did the whole AE trip (800+ miles) without a speedo!

Cheers.

Let me check when I get out to the garage - think I have one out there.

Even better than a part number :)

If I have one, I can bring it Friday, or you can pick it up from my work.

Will let you know in about an hour or so

The other way arround, the ceramic ones are very very brittle and brake easly, the new ones are aparently hard plastic acording to the last person i saw and had it changed.

Just seen the other thread. You going to get the SV back on the road? I'll drop the rad back to you asap if you are.

Couldn't find them, so sorry Paul.

Thats not to say that they are not there tho, just not where I thought they are.

I will try and have another look in the next day or so.

I did find that pretty twisted radiator so if you need to give TSM his back, you can look at and take away this one.

Cheers. My rad held up for AE so I'll stick with it for now.
