Bent Torque Link?

lI've just noticed that there is a kink in my torque link things on the right hand side of my rear wheel?

Do they all have this kink in them or have i managed to bend mine somehow? I did have my rear wheel nut done up to 100Nm plus at one point before i bought a torque wrench and read the manual for the torque settings?

Do you think this could have bent it?

Anybody wanna post a pic of there's so i can compare?

I can see the pic, and it looks like there would be a dent about the same size/shape as a 5p.

My insinct was that it was OK (as it doesn't look too bad from the pic), but I don't know about curvy's, so ignore my instinct. :D

"Is this normal?"
"What, taking photos of it and showing it yo your mates? NO!"

For reasons that escape me I have a torque arm in my pen holder on this desk, where it's been for 2 years. It has the wee dent.

Northwind, does it have a rusty patch on it like mine?

If not would you like to sell it? you can have my rusty one in part exchange.

They all do. So I fitted an SRAD one to the bike, which is alloy. This one's an SV one but powdercoated, waste of money IMO since the first time you fit it the bolts will damage the coating and allow water ingress, and then it'll corrode again.

Been done for over 15,000 miles. Still perfect IMO.

A tenner well spent
