Yay, last day in this sh**ty job

Well the last day has finally arrived in this job that has made me miserable for at least 4 years!! I am soooooooooooooo happy. And tomorrow I am off touring Euorpe on the bike for a week, happy days :D :D :D

What better way to finish it all. Career change or same sorta thing?

Wohooo! :drink:

Hope your trip goes well, and don't take too many pictures. I'm still shopping for a new bike, and don't want to be tempted more into the tourer market TYVM!! ;)

Tomcat, Good Luck in your next venture.
Have fun on your tour. Mind how you go. :)

I am so excited about my holiday! The sh**y job was office based sales, the career change: kennel management/dog grooming.

Baph, you changing your bike? Seriously you should have had a ride on mine (oh er!) We shall see what I say when I get back, but I instantly found the riding position less strenuous then the sv (on the arms), particular when clocking up the miles :)

Luckypants bike looks great, sports tourer? Its a twin isnt it?

Hell, even i would prefer to work with dogs (eeeek they all try and eat me) than work in an office all day. You made the right choice, and I hope you enjoy it!

Why thank you hunni! :D It's a V4, so best of both worlds?

Take no notice of Baph, he changes his mind about changing his bike like he changes socks. He almost went for a Gixxer 6 when dropping me off to pick up the new steed!

Wow! off tomoz on your hols, how great is that? Remember to wave at me on your way back, I'm setting off a week today! (Yay!)

Take lots of photos (I will!) to make folks want to go to Europe on thier bikes.

And good luck in the new job, sounds great. A job you love is the best job in the world!

T'was a Gixxer 750, not a 6. Originally I wouldn't of entertained a 600SS, but after recent conversations, perhaps. Recent insurance revelations mean a second bike is even more of a possibility.

Tomcat, I've recently been offered to ride someone else's pride and joy too, and as I've said to them, thanks, but it's an idea I won't entertain unless FC insurance is sorted out. I would never take even the chance of wrecking someone else's pride & joy.

I'm looking for something with a little longer legs than the SV. The whole lark of up/down the gearbox in the twisties is doing my head in.

Anyway, I'll stop with the derail now.
