To Yorkie Chris...Thankyou

until a couple of weeks ago I'd never met this guy, just shared a few lines about the AR and him gettin an SV. One day he got his SV and thought there was something wrong with it. 'come up to my house my fella will tell you( he'd never owned a V-twin and thought the wheels were gonna fall off hearing the SV tick!!)and there we first met. Then we all went to the AR and met Melody and we all gained friendships that will last for years to come.
My Sv was playing up big time at the AR and thanks to Sid Squids diagnosis we could look at properly at home. Unfortunately im indoors's raptor died fully when we got home and its lived in my shed ever since, til he can fathom whats wrong.
Chris has been brilliant he's helped my bloke in the pouring rain with the raptor, taken him home for tools on new tyres in the pouring rain and generally been a good egg.
because the raptors been a headache for my bloke chris offered to pull my bike apart and uncease the choke cables and believe me when i say ceased solid I mean it, it took hours from what started as simple. but it wasn't the only problem as the day after it still wouldn't work, still ran rich as hell still popped and banged...and anyone riding behind me at the AR would tell you, wouldn't go up hills...so off everyrhing came again today, and a change of plugs, everything cleaned up...all whilst changing his brake lines!!!!!

it now works a hell of a lot better than it did and because he explained how and why things work, what parts do what etc i am now a rather happy bunny.
and i understand more about my bike other than in which direction to point it and how to fill it with petrol.

So thankyou young man, you've made an old lady very happy. very much appreciated:thumbsup:

yep it has lived in my shed since we got back from AR, went down to one cylinder again on way back then stayed on nil ever since. partially why he didn't come on ride out. its a bag of sh**e. have to get it right for France next month. And he has run out of idea's at moment
I've got one but it involves a hammer and a large skip!!!:smt079
