Bedding in new brake pads

Just fitted new pads at the front, is there a correct and incorrect way of bedding them in?

I vaguely remember something about not doing *extremely* heavy braking (as in, first hairpin at the end of a sixth gear straight) to avoid glazing. That may well be complete loblocks though. I'd say just ride normally and be aware that for the first 50 or so miles the brakes will feel different from the old pads until your brain readjusts.

As above.
Correct - no heavy braking, and take it steady for the first 50 miles.
