Bike Transport

I am struggling to find a courier to transport a bike i have found in Bristol. Therefore does anyone know of a decent courier in the West country area or any courier that could transport a bike from Bristol to Marlow(near Maidenhead). Any recommendations greatly received.....most of the couriers seem to be up north!

That said is there anyone out there who wants to make some cash transporting the bike for me, i am open to suggestions.

Cheers Mark :smt023

When I bought my SV the shop in Greenford used a man with a van to deliver it. He collected bikes from all round the country and seemed a genuine, nice guy. Had a proper ramp and ties in the van to hold the bike steady.

I haven't got his number but the shop where I bought my bike will give it to you. Shop's number is - 0208 9972421 and the van man's name is Steve..

I would offer to ride the bike for you but my insurance doesn't cover me on other bikes :-(

What bike is it? My insurance covers me 3rd party on other people's bikes. ;)

Try this.

http://www.lewisday.co.uk/

It's the co I worked for and they have a Bristol office.

Call 'em on 0117 967 8550

Cheers for the offer Law and the numbers Jester and Nick. The seller has reluctantly agreed to transport it over in a van.

I will keep "lewisday.co.uk" though as he may change his mind.

With any luck i will have wrapped up the purchase in the near future and can begin the polishing :)

Depending on the answer I would ride it free of charge back to a destination of your choosing! You probably won't have chicken strips when it arrives as well, consider it a service to fellow bikers! :D
