R&G bungs for K3 ...problems

I recently bought (or should I say...got ripped off) on a pair of r&g's for my K3 2004 naked.

Well they have arrived today, without a fitting kit. Basically all I have got is the engine bar and black nylon bungs....looks like a lightweight dumbell.

So I am guessing there are bits missing. e.g. aluminium block., nuts, washers etc.

Can anyone help me out.....could do with a list of what I actually need to fit the damn things....or can I fit them without all the bits?

Thanks in advance.

my R&G's are the same bar you are talking about but they have 2 alloy threaded cups each end for the nylon sliders to screw into.

Look R&G up on the web and call them.

They will tell you what you should havem ans allow you to buy what you need and get the bits to you next day (usually)

I fitted some R & G's to my K3 (faired) last week, and they came with the aluminium blocks. I presume the unfaired is the same as they mount to the same points on the frame...

I'd call them, to me it seems you are missing vital parts.

When I look at photos of other peoples K3's in the gallery section, they dont seem to have to aluminium blocks....thats whats throwing me.

you are looking at the new design R&G's which do fit like that, mine are the old type where you have a threaded bar about 14 inches long which goes straight through the middle of the engine with a nylon bung on each end.

Ah ok, I get it now...the secondhands ones I have bought, are the old ones...good, so they will fit then. Thanks.
