Supervox's 2nd Annual Rideout & BBQ **UPDATED**
 

It's that time again folks !!

The date I have picked this year is :-

Saturday 11th August

The format will be much the same as last year - meet at 10:30am for an 11:00am departure.

1st stop - as last year - The Cabin in Burnham-on-Crouch (you can't come to this part of Essex on a bike and not do the Burnham Bends !!)

2nd & subsequent stops - TBA

Plan to arrive back at chez 'Vox at about 2:00pm for BBQ.

The meeting place for this years rideout will be the car park of The D1ck Turpin pub - this is on Southend bound side of the A127 between the turn-offs for the A132 & A130

As usual, all Org members are welcome - a PM nearer the time would be appreciated just so we've some idea of numbers :cool:

**UPDATE**

I forgot to say in the orignal post that Mrs Vox will be at the meeting place in the car to collect any bags, etc that people may wish to bring but don't want to carry on the actual rideout.

Seeing as the weather forecast is Sunny 25°+ the 'pool' is being filled as i type so a change of clothes / swimming costume + a towel would be a good idea for anyone who wishes to cool off after the ride !! :)

Well last year was great so i'll be there agin this year buddy.

Those Burnham Bends, for those of you who have never been, are a great set of twisties...and this year i'm gonna try real hard to do them better than last year!

I never got to see these bends due to someone's Satnav crapping out on us! :rolleyes:

Anyway, won't be able to make it this year, have a family (groan) BBQ to goto. Have fun!

It didn't crap out, it was just set to "someone's driveway" rather than "fun route". That unit is now sold so let's see if the TomTom can cope with it this year ;) .

If the Monster is run in by then, count me in Mr Vox :D
