Bored of the Beckhams?
 

How about this for a result.

My fave website (other than the .org) is the BBC. I have the sports and football pages as my two most used bookmarks. However...for the past week it's been nothing but DB and his skanky wife plastered all over the football pages. At one point every single photo and every single article on the main football page was about DB. Not a single one of them about football - all crap about him taking his top off, where his wife is going to shop, how many steps from the plane to the tarmac. The Queen & Pope get less coverage FFS

So....I took a screenshot of the football and sports pages. Got on to their complaints department and emailed them yesterday. Told them their coverage was biased and if I wanted to read crud about the Beckhams I would buy Heat magazine.

Today - got a reply. The stories have all been removed and normal service has been restored.:)

I'm getting tired of it and I'm over here. It was quite dissappointing, yet not surprising to see him only get 15 min of playing time. I'm tired of hearing all these people over here who know nothing about football, talking about him like the next tiger woods and giving no regard to the fact that football is a TEAM sport. I swear I was born and now live in the wrong country. Football rules! American football is for people with b***s bigger than their brains.

Nice work Stuartyboy! There are too many decent media organisations nowadays getting caught up in ridiculous celebrity worshipping. Tell them off!
