Techy help... Outlook & IMAP
As I work remotely from our HQ in Germany I use an IMAP connection for my mail. Has been great until the last couple of weeks when I've noticed a couple of things that seem different.
Firstly, when new mail arrives and get's moved by the rules from my "In Box" to another folder, the folder isn't marked with "unread" mail until I click on the folder. I just found a message sent by my Boss on Wednesday Morning #-o Also I've noticed that when not connected to the Internet, I only seem to have the header, not the full mail. So, have I made these changes without realising it, or is it something to do with the server in Munich ?? I'm using Outlook 2003. . |

Only thing I can think of is have you Subscribed to the folder in question?

also check the settings, it would have a control on if the full message is downloaded or not, usualy with IMAP most people have only the header download then if they go and open the message it retreves the rest. |
