Givi panniers on a curvy?
Hi all,
Has anyone fitted Givi panniers to their curvy using PLB521 tubular sidecase mounting racks? I am trying to buy some but have been told by Givi they have been discontinued. I wondered if that was because no-one ever bought any. I have been looking on here and eBay but not seen any secondhand ones, so am beginning to wonder if they ever existed other than as a drawing? Please can someone let me know one way or the other! Cheers Roy |

Nope, but when I was thinking about panniers last year I found that M&P do a German mounting kit suitable for Givi gear. About £124.

Yes they do exist as I have some
Can't show a picture as they are not on the bike at the moment. If you are going the hard luggage route I think they are very good and only take a few minutes to fix to the bike. They are ugly though which is why I only put them on when needed. |

Matttheloony had a set too, they approximately doubled the size of the SV :) But, if I was doing any proper touring I'd probably get a set too, or build something along the same lines out of B&Q steel strip ;)

Tried them thanks! They haven't got any in stock. Fortunately I have now discovered that SW Motech do pannier mounting plates with adaptors available for different makes of pannier! I have ordered some. They are quick release so you can take them off when not in touring mode and just leave three discreet mounting lugs. I may take a picture and post it if/when they arrive. Alternatively you can look at Bykebitz website: http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/acatalog/S...e_Systems.html
