The Border Patrol Evening Meets

EEEK! Meant to post this days ago!!! The upshot of the inaugural meeting (thanks to those that were there and sorry to those we missed!) was to have a meet every two weeks initially, rotating round three locations variously convenient for some and less so for others. These will be on Wednesday evenings from around 7:30 pm until folks bugger off. First meeting to be held on 22nd August.

Wed 22nd August - Bridge End pub in Llangollen
Wed 5th September - Stormy Petral in Tern Hill Shropshire (currently checking if Wednesdays a good night)
Wed 19th September - The Tap in Eastham Ferry

And so forth! Hopefully no one (with the exception of the redoubtable Baph) will have to travel more than an hour and a half to get to any of these locations.

No moans about locations, if you wern't there tough, you should have been.

Look forward too seeing you all again.

Would that be "The Eastham Ferry"?

Every date? Is only an hour or so to Llangollen from your neck of woods...

The stormy should be every third fortnight. The frequency will be reviewed over time.

For the sake of our foreign correspondent The Eastham Ferry & The Tap are two very different drinking establishments, about 25 metres apart.
In my youth tending to use the Ferry, impressed the young ladies a bit more. Ah what memories but that was before I met my wife so we won't go into too much detail.

Now that I have found the thread I'll try and make at least one of these dates.
