Need a new exhaust, but what?

Sorry if this is one of those every three day posts, i have searched around but couldn't find the sort of information i was looking for.

Currently have a race can on my 2001 Curvy, but it needs to go for insurance purposes, just don't know what to replace it with, only been riding a month. Want something road legal with a removable baffle. Where do you folks find cheapest for this sort of thing, high street, demon-tweeks, internet etc.

If people could recommend some brands/sites/shops along with approximately how much they cost, would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Fuel exhausts seem very popular and not too pricey. They are road legal with removable baffles.

I'm in desperate need of a new can but there are a couple of issues - (a) I'm skint; and (b) I'm not fond of attacking anything I own with a hacksaw

I'm the kind of guy that'd rather pay a professional to do it. I ken that's a s**te excuse though and probably makes me less of a man :-s
