Screen Legal?
I have just purchased a black screen, by black I mean solid black so you cannot look through it. I have just had a thought that it may not be road legal though. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Cheers all.

Re: Screen Legal?
It's perfectly legal

Re: Screen Legal?
Thans for that, you've put my mind at rest! Am I right in thinking that cheesy coloured screen bolts are illegal though? Don't want the fashion police after me!

Re: Screen Legal?
the bolts aren't illegal, although they should be and you will be mocked for fitting them ;-)

Re: Screen Legal?
Indeed, they should be banished to the bargain bin of shame next to those ears that stick on ure helmet!

Re: Screen Legal?
Well kind of back to the point here, sorry to disappoint you, do I need to remove any of the plastics behind the clocks to get to anything to change the screen or is it just a case of unscrewing old and screwing in new?

Re: Screen Legal?
no just unscrew the old one and slide the new one in place, easy as pie

Re: Screen Legal?
When you do put the new screen in place make sure you do not foul the little rubber strips down the side.
BTW, where did you get the solid black screen from and how much was it ??? |
