Damaged exhaust - insurance question
 

My Remus Revolution titanaium exhaust was damaged in altercation with a cager (plonker) using inside lane on a roundabout to turn right and me crashing into the side of it as I wanted to turn left!

So the question is to my learned bikers what will the repairers/insurance company replace it with? I don't want an oem one, as i still have the original.

Have you told them that you had an aftermarket exhaust fitted? If not, I would have thought that you may get an original.
Worst case scenario - if you haven't told them, they might say that you aren't insured

i wouldn't risk losing over it but if you can get away with it rip the cager to pieces. someone nearly wrote my brand new SV off yesterday doing exactly the same thing.
