Blueflame Evo3 Dual Port Oval Titamium

I got bored sunday so fitted the above exhaust. Below is my summary for now.

Fitting is ok, I cut the exhaust (and my finger) exactly as per manafacturer guidelines, 50mm from the weld. Everything slipped together ok and its sits OK. Its not absolutely spot on but then I did rush fit it like a kid. I think I need to spend abit more time having a play with the two joints. I'm convinced one of the joints is leaking a small amount of gasses aswell so will probably have to use some exhaust sealer as there isnt any on at the moment.

The build quality seems good, I have read various people saying otherwise, so I will wait and see what happens abit further down the line and report back.

The NOISE :o:o:smt077:o:o....I tried it on the drive with various scenarios.... baffle and cap in/ baffle in, cap out/cap in, baffle out, and then settled for everything out :smt077:cool: AMAZING

It does sound very good with baffle in and cap out though, everything in sounds abit naff after having all out. I do think I will end up getting pulled over by the Police though :(

I would probably recomend blueflame to people.

Take some time to get the can hanger to fit the shape of the can properly even if this means re-bending it. I'm convinced the troulbe I had with mine was to do with the can hanger not supporting the weight of the can properly as it was such a sloppy fit, it allowed the can to flex and bend with the power pulses from the motor which meant it literally shook itself to bits.

The rebuilt can I've got now has been fine, but I took much more time and effort to get the can hanger to fit properly when I fitted it.

They do sound and look nice though.

Your posts are the ones I read with interest, the one thing i took time doing after reading your previous posts was making sure the hanger fitted perfectly around the can, to the point where the can literally hasnt got any (or very little) movement at all.

I reckon you'll be OK then.

Oh and you dont need to use exhaust sealant on the joints, just slap some clear builders silicone on the pipe before you put it together, it'll seal it up fine and its much easier to get it off again than exhaust sealant is.

I bought it used from a nice forum member who was selling his SV  looks like new and didnt have many miles on it.

I doubt I would pay the £225 - £300 or whatever it is asking price for one new.
