So anyone here recommend me a good domain and web-hosting package?

I've had a look about on-line but the amount of companies is massive, so I'm not sure where to start or even what I should look out for.

So any help would be fantastic.

bought my domain name at 123-reg.co.uk

My hosting at nearlyfreespeech.net

afaik nearlyfreespeec is the cheapest out there.....

Previously Blackcat Networks were the people to talk to for this kind of thing.

Only problem is that they just got bought by someone not so good.

yup - scheduled maintenance.

First time in a long time! And they did warn me a week ago...so it's all good.

Seem fairly easy & painless signing up etc :)

Perhaps look at www.fasthosts.com.

They host 1.5 Gb for £4/month and sell domains for £3 - £12 depending on whether it's .com .co.uk etc.

Only bugger is they charge £25 a year for hosting on an .asp enabled server.
