R6 can on a curvy SV?
Would it fit? Could I attach it to an SV Curvy link pipe?

Re: R6 can on a curvy SV?
If you're talking about the stubby little ones, then I would guess is does. Search for Northwind's posts about him fitting the Akrapovic Megaphone exhaust to his curvy.
Be prepared for an offensivly loud exhaust tho' ;) |
Re: R6 can on a curvy SV?
As you say R6 can i assume you mean OE. Personally i think the pre-05 and 06-07 gp style arn't much of an upgrade.
If its from another manufactuer then its all in the link pipe. |

No, I mean an aftermarket one. I quite fancy a Laser X-treme GP

Re: R6 can on a curvy SV?
The Lazer will kill you with sound. But it's very nice looking. I did it with Micron, Akra and Remus, none of them took. Stu has my old Akrapovic on his pointy, which he likes but I couldn't live with myself... Thejimdaddy off SVRider tried an M4, which I think was also probably stupidly loud.

Re: R6 can on a curvy SV?
I have a Fuel Race can taken off an R6 originally and it fitted straight on to the curvey link pipe :)
The bike has run fine for over 6 months now, so the answer is................. Yes :) |
