SV 650s - Project bike
Hi,
I have an SV650 s 2000 curvy. Done about 20,000 miles It's mot'd and taxed for 10 months. has alphadot and alarm fitted has a scorpion end, can braided brakes and optimate battery charger fitted cost me £2450 from a dealer a year ago But... a couple of weeks ago i had a low speed spill at Mallory park (it's not a track bike - it was my second ever track day!) crash bungs saved a lot of damage. Full damage is both wing mirrors bust brake lever bust right switching unit scrape right hand footpeg bust scrapes on right back fairing front right fairing bust right rear indicator scrape Brake fluid reservoir front and small pipe broken Front sub frame bent Screen bust small break in dashboard small scrape (hardly noticeable) on exhaust The frame is unmarked as is the tank - everything else on bike (aprt from above) looks fine I have brought a load of parts - front and rear fairing, indicator, brake lever, screen, mirrors, right switching unit all it needs is front sub frame, front brake fluid reservoir and pipe, right hand footpeg The bike is a eally good runner and has a couple of minor scratches as you'd expect I'm useless at mechanics but i want to sell the bike as a project. I'm based in reading and i guess it needs picking up! I'm told someone half decent could fix it in about 2 to 3 hours It would make a great starter bike or you could convert to a track day bike (to save your pride and joy) Happy to supply pictures etc but wanted to get a gauge first was thinking of £900 with all the above parts included. Bike would be £1750 odd fixed so i guess even buying front sub frame and other bits you are getting £600 off. the frame and engine are completely undamaged I have all paperwork, service history etc etc If anyone is interested let me know and can post pictures etc etc Why am I selling - i didn't enjoy falling off is the honest answer and have decided to take up fishing! thanks Duff |
Re: SV 650s - Project bike
Apologies - also has metz sportec tyres. plenty of tread left on them
the left hand side of the bike is completely unmarked - not a scratch - as it was very low speed if you think 900 too much make me an offer duff |
