Anyone got the day off on Monday ?????
I have.
My mate who is the the Met was supposed to come up today fro a visit, but got a puncture on the bike on his way into work this morning. Hopefully he's getting it fixed tomorrow and riding up late afternoon/early evening - so we're all set up for a ride out on Monday. Start & finish in Darlington - with the route most likely going through Barnard Castle, Brough, Penrith, Hartside :smt045, Alston, Brampton, Langholm, Hawick & Jedburgh, then the A68 back to Darlo. Up for it - got time to sort out a day off ???, or pull a sickie ???? Pop on a reply if you fancy it, also open to suggestions for a route if anyome got any better. |

I wont say anything about your plate if you say nothing about my baffle being missing, :smt077
Pace is up to you, we always make a couple of coffee stops and make sure everybody knows where we're going, and when we go through a town etc we wait to have a bit of a catch up so that when we get to the coffee stop no one is too far ahead of anyone else. We ALWAYS observe limits etc in towns/villages, probably the :plod: in us, but once out on the open road I would describe it as "progressive". |
