Anyone live in/nr chester?

Hi everyone,

I'm after a favour if possible. My brother is looking at getting a 2003 Zx6R but doesn't know a huge amount about bike mechanics. Would anyone be willing to go with him and have a look over the bike if he pays you?

Thanks in advance
Andy

Yeah he would do that, anyone recommend a pro in the area? he lives in Torbay, Devon so has no knowledge of the area etc. Any help would be gratefully received.

Iain Clayton from Mr. Pgs in Manchester does this service for people. Not sure how much he charges? Chester is only 40 minutes from Manchester. PM me if you need a phone number.

I live 30 minutes from Chester, but not sure I'm qualified to comment on a bike prior to purchase. Where is the bike coming from. dealer or private?

Try posting this in 'The Border Patrol' as well, that is the section for the area and so your post may be seen by more locals.

Its a private sale posted on a forum a lot like this. I've ready a bit of history about the seller and he seems genuine but my brother just wants someone with a bit more mechanical knowledge than him to give it a oncwe over to make sure theres nothing glaringly obvious. It would be appreciated if you coudl have a look but obviously no pressure! :D

PS - My borther is into white water canoeing too!
