Aerosol paints, where to buy

I went to my local paint supplier yesterday to get a colour match for my nose fairing only to be told that they dont make up aerosols anymore. Is there somewhere on the net that I can get some from?

Halfords. They do a paint match service if you take in the paint code

I think Halfords may only do car colours? Or so I was told in my local Halfords?

You could try www.paints4U.com

I went to my local Halfords a couple of months ago and they do bike colours too. Get them to look up the paint code to see if it exists

Used paints4u before highly recommended, select the aerosol and then put in the colour code for your bike.

I used Paints4U for all my stuff, very good.

Halfords can do you a custom mix, but it'll still be rubbish, they only supply cellulose paints which just aren't up to long term use. The hard part is always the top coat... I did a front panel with Halfords stuff (did the rest of the bike properly, but then I binned it...) and it is frankly rubbish, insects leave impact damage! It's a top fairing, and yet still covered in minor chips already. No good really.
