broken bones question again
i answered a thread a few days ago asking how painful broken bones were can't seem to find it now tho? i answered something like "not very painful, a pulled muscle is worse" how wrong could i be? last night don't know what i did but i couldn't move:confused: the most pain I've ever felt, i got the wife to get me double dose of pain killers which helped;)
my question is "when bones are mending is it normal to get these heavy bouts of pain?" |

FWIW when I broke my pelvis - well obviously they couldn't cast it. But it was 6 weeks before it started healing properly, I could then use one crutch only, but it was tiring because the muscle had wasted a bit. It was 8 weeks before I could do very much, and 3 months before I could walk properly as in properly properly. |

Re: broken bones question again
I have broken a few bones and each time the initial break never hurt that much, just numb....probably due to shock...
Re-alignment and the prolonged piercing aches whilst your healing up are the pain the posterior. I always found it would be starting to feel ok, and then you would knock it or move awkwardly stretching the fresh bone......AAHHHHHHH the pain memories |
