Morning all.
OH NO! NOT ANOTHER WHICH OIL POST!.....I'm sure you lot ask this in the hope that it'll start a handbag flinging contest between us Techy types on here:D The answer is EITHER! As long as it's a good quality one, for there are pro's & con's with both. Cheers. P.S. My preference is for fully synthetic, but I have to whisper it, for the handbag brigade might hear me!:o |

Chip fat. Used chip fat ideally, the crunchy bits help the clutch to bite, cutting down wear. And it smells lovely.At the end of a long ride, just drop in a chip on a string through the filler cap for a minute, and have a snack.

I fry my chips in Castrol R.Keeps me nice and regular you know.

oh dear. I've been using factor 4 tanning oil (coconut flavour) in my SV...is that bad?
Smells great on the overrun tho... |
