99-00 Lower Fairings good deal?

Should I do it...especially if the price stays this low. I would paint them myself... I'm also looking to pick up the 99-00 upper fairing and convert my naked into an S. I'll be doing a search to see what all I need, but just wanted to see if you guys thought this would be a good deal. The fiber glass seems to be in great shape without any major cracks.

do a search, as there is a few threads on this, IMO its not worth the hassle, if you want a "S" swap yours for one

but it can be done

I did a search and now I'm thinking it isn't such a good deal, but I had to post up the lowers that were selling for $10 US...that's pretty cheap. I could probably get the uppers and lowers for less than 80 USD the mounting brackets would be the expensive part...and the radiator if it does have to be changed.

to be honest the fairings make a good job of directing the windblast in to your helmet. Comfort-wise the SVS is pretty cosmetic until you're well within licence losing territory - or SV top end. If I were you, keep your cash and spend it elsewhere, like on Petrol :)
