Winter servicing
 

Ok, over the winter, although I don't intend to take it off the road completely, here's what I've got lined up so far.

Fit new rear shock (Thanks pmapp)
Spray new undertray and fit it (Thanks Luckypants)
Spray hugger
Replace chain and sprockets
Replace brake pads and fluids
Replace front shock springs (Ohlins seem popular) and fluid.
Oil and filter
Air filter
Possibly respray lowers (Might need new Dragons, Hovis. At least 3 BHP more!)

Seems it could be a busy winter! Anything I've forgotten?

if you are changing brake fluid, might be worth fitting braided hoses?

Is that where you got the Suzuki stickers on the lowers too? Add braided hoses too.

alright mike;) .i see your local- livin in the boro!!!

(well local to me untill i move north in two weeks anyway)

id agree-if doing pads and brake fluid spend £40 on a HEL set of braided lines, also whilst at it id give the callipers a good clean and check the pistons/seals too.

front forks- ive just done mine (1hr to do both) i opted for ohlins springs and topped up to 15w fork oil and its great now.

whilst also doing chain and sprockets/rear shock id personally make sure to check the swingarm and wheel bearings are good and slapin some more grease if needed too :)

if doing fluids...dont neglect the coolant.id flush it out and replace that to whilst at it

if your doing anything in the next few weeks and want a hand with anything or what not gimmie a shout mate.

Next few weeks might be optomistic,in the middle of spraying the saxo door and wing so it can go! You off to uni or moving? And thanks for the offer, if I get the car done and get started on the bike, I will def give you a call

Yes, look for the best price besides you will struggle to find any steel lines that aren't better than the stock ones.

yes goodridge is a good name and 40£ is good especially as its a complete kit with all banjo bolts and washers etc.. also its 3 lines thats both front and the often neglected rear too
