Well, yesterday I met Charley Boorman, what an all round nice guy!! Got my Race to Dakar book signed. He was at Cheltenham Literature Festival, and a friend got tickets but couldn't make it.
The festival was selling Long Way Down books, ahead of the official launch, but I decided not to get it as it's on my Christmas list.
Daughter and I managed to get second row seats, he was very nervous, but what a genuine gentleman!!

Only down side of the day was that parking in Cheltenham cost more than the tickets, but that's Cheltenham for you! (tickets £6 each, parking £7.50!!)
