they call it morbid curiosity, i think its to remind us of what being mortal is like, we all seem to be fascinated by death, destruction and deformities from regularity, it just goes to show how boring some peoples lives are.

Ah Rubbernecking syndrome.
Should be an offense to take pictures of accidents or similar incidents.It would be if we had proper privacy rights in this country.

There is a law in France that you have to help an injured person if you can - the good samaritan law it is called i think. I don't know if this would extend to not taking pictures. I think it is just sick. Totally agree with the paramedic, how would these people feel if it was their relative.

I really hope the poor guy doesn't loose his arm. I hate hearing about sh*t like this happening.

There's no ****ing excuse for that. I'd give them a real good close up of their own blood and gore if I caught someone doing that. :mad:

I really don't know why people feel need to look.....I have see this kind of thing sometimes with work its not nice. People who come to look get in the way and casue even more problems to what is a serious incident.
Some people have nothing better to do and yes the lives are probally really dull.

I have had to be literally held back at some RTC scenes to stop me getting at prats and sicko's who are "just havin' a look"

Honestly, what is so fascinating about seeing someone at their most vulnerable, exposing their base human reactions of fear and pain in a public place. Avert your eyes and let me get on with my job, ****wits...

When Luckypants had his off I was standing close to him acting as a relay for traffic control for Pete and Baph. The number of cars which almost stopped as the occupants tried to have a good gawp was incredible. They got short shrift and a very obvious 'move' gesture from me,

A lot of people are ghouls, short and simple.
