Forget the DL V-strom, dual sported curveys
I don't care for the curvey, but look at these beauties. Beats the strom anyday, I reckon. The motard is fantastic. Probably doesnt make real sense money wise, but who cares about 'Why?'
Remember this one http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...21/motoXsv.jpg Here's another http://www.atgreg.smugmug.com/photos/80896207-L-1.jpg And absolutely superb IMO http://www.advrider.com/forums/attac...1&d=1192041649 |

I saw Randy O mention that his naked SV worked better as a dual sport than his new DL1000  Though I forget why.
Can't see the last pic, but one of the guys up here has an ace supermoto-ish SV, I used to see it thrashing about as I waited for the bus home... But I've not seen him post for ages. |

That black framed curvey is one of my favourite modded bikes of all time.

Re: Forget the DL V-strom, dual sported curveys
Funny, I don't like the black one at all... Horrible stance, the rear's far too low so it just looks a bit daft. It's beautiful work, excellent attention to detail and all, just htat it'd be so much nicer with a standard front end on it IMO. It'd probably work better on the road as well. Forks look too raked out too, for hte same reason.
I do like the classic SV dirt bike in the top pic though. Nothing like as pretty but it works. |
