Just to let you know the end result-----------3pts&£150, the result of a Newton guilty plea to speeding,but NOT to the original charge of 109.7 mph.
So we live to fight another day[Just a bit slower]

Lucky chappy, I have always wondered what the consequence of that rate of pace would be.

So how did you go about it. Go to court and admit to speeding but not at the speed they were suggesting?

Not that simple but the equipment[Laser] was used outwith type approval and the PC didn't turn up to contradict my accusations,so in consequence the court accepted my evidence and guilty plea at a much lesser speed. So instead of a ban/six points and a big fine I was treated kindly by the court

I consider myself very lucky
