Bulb replacement quick help

Hi All,
Just a quick question, can someone give me a clue what I'm supposed to be reaching for up inside the fairing when I'm going to change my bulbs over to the new philips extreme ones?
ie is it a screw out bit or a squeeze to bits together kinda clip or something else?
thanks in advance:)

PS any other advice/tips appreciated as I'm new to all this malarkey (as if you couldn't tell)

No, I work P/T nights.

Put kettle on boil.

There's a screw in triangular piece of plastic, on the fairing near the handlebar, either side of the clocks. Remove this.

Reach in and there's a rubber cap with the headlight wire leading in.

Pull the wire out.
Remove the rubber cap.
Release the clip. Remove the bulb.

Fit new bulb. Clip.
Refit rubber cap with bit marked top at the top.
Plug back wire. Refit panel piece.

Make cup of tea. Drink.

Helps if you have small hands.

excellent, you make it sound so easy :) I'm sure it is with practice, thanks, will have a bash at it tonight if I can get chance and they cool down enough.
hopefully my hands will be ok, kinda small, I'm genetically geeky so they are ideal for keyboard use so should be small enough.

Thanks for the advice Law.
Much Appreciated

Excellent, got em sorted, thought i'd have a look, maybe not do them but a reccy at least, but as you say plowsie its surprisingly easy after you have been scared ****eless by the haynes manual, the one i was looking at was showing the whole front off the bike and showing it was really easy then, i've no doubt it is!
anyhow, all sorted and thanks to both of you for the advice, helped a lot, would have taken ages to figure out and i would have been scared pulling the rubber cap off without knowing :)

definitely an improvement on the standard ones, although in fairness they aren't bad but these look much whiter. I may of course notice more once i'm out on the road with them.

Thanks again :)

It was the mighty Law that did all the hard work.

The worst and scary part for me was when i couldnt get the clip to fit back. Well that was easy too once ya know how lol.
