GF pillion - need kit
Having been on the bike a few times now wearing borrowed kit, I think it is about time to buy her some stuff of her own that fits a bit better. Planning on looking for bargains at the NEC, as will need boots, leathers, helmet & gloves. Can anyone suggest brands to look out for or avoid? I don't mind paying for decent stuff, but don't have a bottomless wallet!

Avoid Frank Thomas, it's not usually any good. For kit reviews try here: www.ridetriangles.co.uk
It's not the be-all and end-all, but it'll give you something to base a judgement on. HTH Jai |

Oh, or PM shop addict: she runs girlsbike2 in Holloway and so should be able to give good advice.

Re: GF pillion - need kit
Depending on how much money, you can get spada kit cheap. I recently got spada podium trousers for £90 and a jacket (forgot the name, but its long) for £100. Hard armour in both, removable lining in both, zip vents on the jacket, loaddsa pockets, waterproof, windproof. Cheap as chips and will protect your good lady :D

Girlsbike2 is great. I got pretty much all my kit from there.

Gazza
Depends what dress size she is and how tall she is, as different makes tend to come up with different fits. PM me or give me a call at the shop (020 8340 6503) and I can give you a rough idea of what price you would be looking at and which brands are most suitable. Jo Girlsbike2 North London |
