What's the thou like?
 
I was wondering, what's the thou like compared to the 650? And what's the pointy like compared to the curvy?...Hope I ain't started something here!

Ive never owned a curvey so you could do with someone who's owned both, you'll get the usual "curveys best, pointys best" oh and "YELLOW is best" so someone with the knowledge of both could start something here:)

The 650 is a much better bike IMHO....I found the 1000 just too heavy...

I've been ogling a sv1000s at the showroom, was wondering what they're like aswell

I really enjoyed my 6 1/2 pointy and just wanted more of the same. Thats just what I got with the thou. It needs a little more input but I think that when it is set up right it's still agile and fun. The seat is softer, the suspension is more supple and compliant, the brakes are much better. It's just much better overall.

I'm loving it.

Its a real shame they cant make a SV650R with Gixxer bits... Im betting people would buy them... infact in almost cirtain they would, i think i would have! (if it was only about £1000-1500 more).
